My setup:
*) One always visible panel on left
*) One autohide panel on bottom
*) Four desktops in configuration 4x1
The autohide panel works as expected. But as soon as I change option "Desktop
behavior/Screen Edges/Switch Desktop on Edge" to "Always enabled", the bottom
panel never shows.
I can switch desktops by moving mouse to left or right edge of the screen, but
moving mouse to bottom edge never rise up the hidden panel. It stays
inaccessible. I have to switch off the "Switch on Desktop Edge" option to be
able rise up access the hidden panel.
This is probably connected with bug #356516
