--- Comment #4 from [email protected] --- Technical details from logs: 1. The core issue (Compositor loses the window): The most critical error occurs right when the multimedia tab is closed. The system tries to refresh the thumbnail but fails: Plaintext error creating screencast "Could not find window id {43813e14-7c62-44a4-bdfd-c1d85bd6c9be}" 2. PipeWire link failure: Immediately after the window ID is lost, WirePlumber fails to re-establish the stream: Plaintext wireplumber: <WpSiStandardLink:...> link failed: 1 of 1 PipeWire links failed to activate 3. MPRIS Spam: Chrome triggers a massive wave of MPRIS (Media Player Remote Interfacing Specification) events during the tab closure: Plaintext mpris-proxy: player org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.chromium.instance... disappear (repeated dozens of times) 4. Observed Behavior: Trigger: Closing a tab with active audio/video playback (YouTube/Music). Persistence: Neither plasmashell --replace nor restarting Chrome's GPU process (via Shift+Esc) restores the preview. Fix: Only a complete restart of the Google Chrome application restores task manager thumbnails. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
