Thanks for the request. Currently only plain 8-bit char encodings are supported
in the bytearray view/editor, so UTF-8 is not an option (same with other UTF
variants). There is some support in the tools Decoding table and Structures
though.
Furthermore, with char encodings with varying byte-width, like UTF-8, we still
need some good ideas how to support editing in the char edit mode. Proposals
welcome.
