Hi Peyton,
That is not normal behaviour. Either something is messed up on your system, or
you're triggering something very specific that other people don't encounter.
But you're not giving me any information that could help solving the problem.
Your report says you're using Linux. Is that correct? If not, which operating
system are you using? Could you share your image with me so I can see if there
is something wrong with that? Does Krita crash when you try to save, or does it
crash while you're painting?
If the latter, and if you happen to be on Windows, does this experimental build
work better:
