The dialog to accept the fingerprint is blocked till the connection fails or the hint (or what ever it is called that shows the status) of KNetAttach is canceled. For testing, it must be a ssh connection that was never established before. It looks like the status dialog/hint locks the fingerprint dialog. Workaround: Make a manual ssh connection "ssh user@ip" via terminal and accept the fingerprint.
