SUMMARY
The desktop does not save any form of changes, including adding/removing
widgets, changing positions of icons on the desktop and changing the desktop
background. These are just the issues I was able to confirm. Worth noting,
however, that the desktop does save new icons/files added to the desktop
folder, such as shortcuts to games/applications or files created directly on
the desktop.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure desktop is set to "Folder mode"
2. Attempt to make any of the previously listed changes to the desktop
3. Restart the desktop environment, either manually or by restareting the
machine.
OBSERVED RESULT
All changes previously made will have been reverted.
EXPECTED RESULT
All changes should be saved and maintained.
