However there is the 2nd part also reported in bug #513642 where the audio is paused when going to a text console. While this could be considered a feature (switching out of a session may be in order to go to another graphical session, so pausing is needed) I would argue that in majority of uses there is only a single graphical session and the user switching into a text session would prefer the audio to continue playing, or at least to auto-resume when we return to the graphical session.
