--- Comment #53 from [email protected] --- [email protected] Perhaps you have a problematic file in your collection. 9.0.0 appimage is build now with _all_ digiKam dependencies updated (jpeg, png, heif, webp, tiff, libraw, ffmpeg, exiv2, exiftool, etc). Perhaps one lib dislike one file from your collection. Create a new fresh account, download the AppImage in the home dir, and run it from scratch. Add a new empty collection and fill it step by step, progressively with new files to see if crash is reproducible.
