Quick example.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Try to select from right to left a long word that you don't usually select,
like a name or series of numbers, like a serial or code.
OBSERVED RESULT
It's a hassle to know if you selected the first character because the cursor
will have its arrow shape covering it.
And if you stop holding the click just to check it can end up with you having
to copy the same text all over again because the first letter wasn't selected.
EXPECTED RESULT
Have the cursor see-through, or in negative when its arrow icon is obstructing
a text selection.
Or anything that would make it impossible for the arrow icon to obstruct text
selections.
