Summary: PPPoE should allow specifying parent interface
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.5.3
Reported In:
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_networkmanagement
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I should be able to edit "Parent interface" for DSL connections. I'm using
Linux to debug-skip my ISP (Primus)'s router, and the PPPoE must be wrapped by
VLAN 40.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. `kcmshell6 kcm_networkmanagement`
2. Click the `+` icon
3. Click "DSL"
OBSERVED RESULT
There's no "Parent interface" field
EXPECTED RESULT
It should be like `nm-connection-editor`. With the same steps, I immediately
see a "Parent interface" dropdown.
