What I'm wondering is why it resets before I'm done with my changes. Of course my changes make no sense before they're done. > But I agree that the documentation could be better and more precise. The bigger issue is that there is no error message. It just resets with no feedback. This is a common issue across kdenlive. "Cannot paste clips into timeline" why? I'm pasting a short clip at the end of the sequence. There's no reason for it to break, and I don't know what the problem is because I'm not TOLD anything. I did find a fix to my specific issue which is to use the slip clip option, but I'm working with hour long clips and only able to slip about 2 minutes at a time.
