You're probably right. What I'm wondering is why it resets before I'm done with
my changes. Of course my changes make no sense before they're done.

The bigger issue is that there is no error message. It just resets with no
feedback.

This is a common issue across kdenlive. "Cannot paste clips into timeline" why?
I'm pasting a short clip at the end of the sequence. There's no reason for it
to break, and I don't know what the problem is because I'm not TOLD anything.

I did find a fix to my specific issue which is to use the slip clip option, but
I'm working with hour long clips and only able to slip about 2 minutes at a
time. There's no dialogue box for clip slipping either and I can't use the edit
duration box for reasons stated above.
