--- Comment #49 from Blazer Silving <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Jakob Petsovits from comment #48) Firstly, thanks a TON to you and the rest involved for breaking ground and getting that work done. Thanks as well for filling us in on the current state of things, and highlighting the distinction between mouse and trackpad gestures. I would say don't worry about the time, but X11 does have a doom counter on it now. Really though, thanks so far! > I think that exposing a toggle instead of the full range of possible actions > is a good intermediate goal. With this in mind (API incomplete, UI/UX already laid out and well-received), I'm now doubting that a single isolated toggle to cut all gestures is the right stopgap, especially if this can be finished in the next year (by 6.8). Demoing the proposed layout with "Disabled" as one of the options could work, but it may be best to finish the rest of the implementation as well. A stub would still require the API and configuration as any of the changes would, and there aren't any other "pardon our dust" areas in System Settings. It'll likely need to ship all at once. In the meantime, we can still leverage the kwin-gestures script linked earlier on this report. It's actively maintained, and has had several major improvements since we last discussed it here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
