I checked the stacktrace and saw it was checking a string and getting an access
error on a pointer. I then saw in the duplicate bug someone made mention to the
manufacturer field being empty in their debugging session. I immediately got
suspicious of that cheap foot pedal and unplugged it.

I knew it exposes a gamepad because it shows up in my Steam Proton games as a
device I can pick.
