[I'm the reporter of #512002, which has been marked as a duplicate of this.]

To be clear, the problem, at least in my case, is not the incorrect *display*
of the power profile in the system tray, but the fact that the incorrect
profile is actually active, as can be seen by invoking the "powerprofilesctl"
command.
