Audio Volume Widget(inside System Tray) always remain muted in Application Menu

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use default panel settings(No application menu bar)
2. Right Click on Desktop, then click "Enter Edit Mode"
3. Click on Add Panel, then choose "Application Menu Bar"
4. Add System Tray Widget in Application Menu Bar
5. Change volume using keys or hover over Audio Volume Widget and scroll up
down
OBSERVED RESULT
Audio Volume Widget always remain muted
EXPECTED RESULT
Widget should change according to current volume
