[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #34 from [email protected] --- @Aleix Pol could you please take another look at this issue and clarify whether and how it has been resolved? Like [email protected], I have the same experience: the Global Shortcuts settings window does not accept any mouse events as input for shortcuts, while keyboard presses are registered fine. There is a Settings dialog that lets me bind extra mouse buttons to specific keyboard events, but I cannot use this to bind the regular left/middle/right buttons or the scroll wheel. It's also cumbersome to first assign a mouse event to a key combination and then assign that combination to a global shortcut. I haven't tried plasma-remotecontrollers, but its description says: > This project translates events from various input devices to keypresses on a > keyboard and pointer events (mouse movement). That would only translate input into keyboard or pointer events. As far as I can tell, there is still no way to bind mouse events (click, scroll, etc.) directly to global shortcuts, which was the original goal of this bug report. I can also create a new bug report if that's more appropriate -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
