Dark Mode not working, inconsistent
SUMMARY
main window comes up blinding white, but clicking on options and sub-menus,
dard mode comes in, in pieces.
sometimes the left pane white, and right dark, and sometimes the whole thing
dark or white.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open the app (all will be bright white, wear sunglasses)
2. click on file associations (left will be white, right dark)
3. click back and forth between file associations, and default applications,
and the right pane flips between white and dark.

EXPECTED RESULT
consistent dark mode (match the user's interface settings)
(loogging into KDE, and back to Gnome doesn't fix it, and KDE and Gnome are
BOTH set in Dark Mode)
