Cameron Smith <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #11 from Cameron Smith <[email protected]> --- I can still reproduce this, however something has definitely changed recently. It is now much more difficult to trigger a bugged state, as it is seemingly more difficult to trigger a 3 finger gesture at all (when starting a gesture on the desktop, not an application, where it seemingly behaves normally). When starting a 3 finger gesture on the desktop background, I find it usually tries to just open a selection box with 2 of the three fingers on the touchscreen. If the desktop does go into a bugged state (with some difficulty), then 3 finger gestures work normally (as do they on applications, where selection boxes cannot be drawn). In the bugged state (see bug 482222), a permanent selection box stays static on the screen until an external mouse/touchpad moves around, showing a selection box present at all times, beginning at the top left corner of the screen. Perhaps this is an issue with selection boxes and 3 finger touchcancel events? Something recently has changed this quite dramatically, but the bug still remains. I find it's quite difficult to notice as it's hard to start 3 finger touchevents at all on my laptop anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
