--- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- One vital use-case for this from the bug merged into this is also for changing presentation options (Meta+P). In unfortunate cases it may be that e.g. a beamer was previously selected as the primary output source (and thus gets the cursor upon connection) whilst it might not show anything (environment too bright, beamer still warming up etc).
