Gray blur on menu transparency
Transparent menus look ugly washed-gray with the new blur of Plasma 6.5
After upgrading to Plasma 6.5, context menus and a transparent Konsole profile
(blur enabled in Konsole profile settings) look very ugly with a washed-gray
background.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable transparency in system settings, ~program styles, Breeze,
~transparency. I’m using the 6th step on the scale.
2. Open context menus of windows, in Dolphin, Gwenview, etc.
3. See the washed-out gray ugliness.
I’m using a Konsole shell profile with transparency @ 42% with blur enabled.
After the Plasma 6.5 upgrade, it got impossible to even discern window borders
behind it. All blur is blended with gutter gray.
That’s no good design.
