SUMMARY
kde plasma6 not stable when switching desktops
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use a KVM to switch away from a plasma6 session
OBSERVED RESULT
KWIN crashed, all programs are gone
EXPECTED RESULT
KWIN exists, no programs are gone

Operating System: NixOS 25.05
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0

Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-11900K @ 3.50GHz

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
i just swapped away from an nvidia 3070 Ti, which was also demonstrating this
issue
every time it breaks i press the report crash button but none of the changelogs
said anything about this sort of issue / it keeps happening so i figure that
might be broken also.
here are logs of me causing this to happen over and over while I attempt to
recreate it with sway, and notably, sway does not cause the issue when i run it
from a tty, kde experiences the issue when i run it from a tty with
startplasma-wayland
