It looks like the setting here isn't properly communicating with other elements
of the system that handle lid switch actions. When it says "Do nothing", it
means from a Plasma power management perspective, but this text definitely
suggests that literally actually nothing will happen.

We should either make it actually do nothing (better, harder solution), or else
rephrase the option to reflect what will actually happen (easier but less
satisfying solution).
