Can you clarify what you mean by "it breaks"? As in, you press Alt+Space (or whatever its shortcut is on your system) and it doesn't open? If so, please open a terminal window, run `krunner --replace`, then try to open it, and then paste any text printed to the terminal window into a comment here.
