                    NVIDIA
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.4.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: EndeavourOS
                OS: Linux

          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

On (my) NVIDIA GPU, transparent overlays are filled with checkerboard
artifacts, with color affecting the visibility. This is most pronounced if
Night Light is active, but can also be seen at the edge of window shadows.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set theme to Breeze Dark (most visible against a grey background)
2. Enable Night Light and activate it
3. Scrub through the color temperature slider

OBSERVED RESULT

A rapidly-flickering checkerboard artifact appears, with its intensity varying
depending on the color.
Example: https://files.catbox.moe/64f13k.mp4

EXPECTED RESULT

Transparent overlays are free of artifacts.
