I do agree with that, it looks like your hardware is pretty severely broken

Make sure you you disable suspend for all profiles (battery, AC, low battery).
Adding this to .config/powerdevilrc should do it

[Battery][SuspendAndShutdown]
AutoSuspendAction=0

[LowBattery][SuspendAndShutdown]
AutoSuspendAction=0
