Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you or if I made myself
misunderstood, because it sounds like you agree with me. My point being that,
if the kernel allows the mapping to succeed (which it may not, depending on its
W^X policy), then is there a reason for Valgrind to not use symbols from it?
