nyanpasu64 <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attachment #178241|0 |1 is obsolete| | --- Comment #59 from nyanpasu64 <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 185177 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=185177&action=edit Video of the Ctrl+A bug happening on Plasma 6.5.80. Sending Ctrl+A keystrokes to a XWayland window happens on KDE Linux 2025-09-21 running Plasma 6.5.80. I installed screenkey using: curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh uvx https://gitlab.com/screenkey/screenkey.git Then set it to appear as an overlay using Window Rules where I'd "Keep above other windows", "No titlebar and frame", and "Accept focus" force = No. Then I installed Obsidian Flatpak and reproduced the bug. In general I only consider a bug fixed once you determine what sequence of events caused it to happen, preferably prove that real-world bug occurrences are caused by these events, then show why a bugfix prevents the events, as well as verifying the bug no longer occurs. In this thread we only performed the last action, where "some code changed -> I haven't seen the stochastic bug yet", without knowing why the old code caused the bug or why the new code doesn't. Hence it's unsurprising that the issue still occurs under testing. (Is this bug's Fixed status and "I'm not able to reproduce this with git-master" supposed to reflect the originally reported Alt-Tab-Tab bug, or my discovered Ctrl+A + switching windows bug?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
