basicaly when i open a proton log (4.5 gb) file with kate and tell it to go to
the bottom of the file kate freezes and got up to 45 gb of ram useage befor i
rushed to go and kill it via mission center
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
open proton log file
OBSERVED RESULT
kate freezes and uses 45 gb of ram
EXPECTED RESULT
kate dosen't freeze and uses alot less then 45 gb of ram
