            Bug ID: 510011
Summary: volume setting defaults to max, no longer remembers
previous setting when opening new file or navigating
                    to next file in directory
    Classification: Applications
           Product: gwenview
      Version First 25.08.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Prior to an update, gwenview would remember where the volume silder was when
navigating through videos in a directory using the arrow keys to go
next/previous. after an update, same behavior results in max volume level any
time a new file opens. the volume setting was saved between sessions too, so
you could close a window, then reopen a different file, and slider would
remember where volume was set. this functionality has broke since last update

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open file
2. lower volume
3. close file then open new (or navigate to next file)

OBSERVED RESULT
observe volume slider back at max

EXPECTED RESULT
slider used to stay at the previous setting
