Yeah, it’s a shame. I’ve actually experienced that notification bug the other day too, I believe. Eventually, it crashed my session when I clicked around it. Anyway, if you read some of the comments the KDE team left on this thread, it’s pretty obvious why your fix hasn’t been merged. I’m just happy my workaround works for now, I’ll probably jump to Cinnamon or another DE if KDE becomes even more unbearable.
