Since I upgraded my laptop at home (Fedora 42) to dragon-25.08.0-1.fc42.x86_64 I noticed the battery drain issue caused by KDE Connect app on my Android phone. It doesn't happen with vlc (same audio stream) or Firefox playing a window. The Dragon Player GUI has changed quite a bit in the new version, so I assume some big new development or rewrite has occurred.
