Screenshot showing brush behavior
SUMMARY
When a Pattern brush parameter is Locked, it is not consistently applied to
other brushes when other Krita brush features are used such as Reload Original
Preset and opening/closing the Brush Editor.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
See the attached screenshot for reference.
In the following steps, I reference a brush preset named "Grid Pattern" that I
created. It has Pattern Texture set to Grid01.pat, and Pattern Options set to
defaults.
1. Start Krita and create a new A4 300ppi document.
2. Select the brush preset "c) Pencil-3 Large 4B".
3. Paint a stroke. This results in "A" on the attached screenshot
4. Select the brush preset "Grid Pattern", open the Brush Editor, go to the
Texture section, lock the Pattern parameter, and close the Brush Editor.
5. Re-select the brush preset "c) Pencil-3 Large 4B".
6. Paint a stroke. This results in "B" on the attached screenshot.
7. Click the Reload Original Preset toolbar button.
8. Paint a stroke. This results in "C" on the attached screenshot.
9. Open the Brush Editor and close it immediately.
10. Paint a stroke. This results in "D" on the attached screenshot.
OBSERVED RESULT
See previous section
EXPECTED RESULT
"B", "C", and "D" on the screenshot should all look the same.
Clicking the Reload Original Preset toolbar button should not affect locked
parameters.
Opening and closing the Brush Editor (without making any changes) should not
affect locked parameters.
