            Bug ID: 509056
Summary: Rotation of a transition effects independent
                    composition
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
      Version First 25.08.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Timeline & Editing
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I add a transition to a clip and rotate the frame, independent compositions
which are earlier in the timeline get rotated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create 3 clips in 3 video tracks above each other and composite each to the
next one (so a stack of 3 clips composited together).
2. Add a clip later in the timeline and add the transition effect to it.
3. Rotate this later clip with the transition using the drag handle in the
project monitor.

OBSERVED RESULT
If you go back in the timeline you will see that each composition got rotated
as well.

EXPECTED RESULT
The compositions should not rotate.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 25.04
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.8.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This happens in the official app image but I also use a self-compiled version
from the Git repo using the 25.08 release branch.
This is really disturbing as it causes seemingly random side effects to your
video.
Here is a video which shows the bevavior:
