My old Nvidia GPU only have 2 GB of VRAM so I frequently run out of memory when
I run DNN training on it:

[GPU ID 0x00006500] Failed to allocate NVKMS memory for GEM object
When that happens and Emacs is in fullscreen mode Emacs becomes totally
unresponsive. It does not happen when Emacs is not in fullscreen mode so I
infer that the error is related to how kwin handles out of memory errors.
