Volume Control Window showing channel in off setting
SUMMARY
The Profile setting for HDMI audio channel reverts to "off" after returning
from sleep. This HDMI channel is an output of the video card going into a
monitor with built-in speakers.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set HDMI audio Profile to "Pro Audio" (only option available other than
off).
2. Set HDMI audio Profile to "Digital Stereo (HDMI x) Output"
3. Enter sleep mode
4. Resume from sleep
OBSERVED RESULT
After resuming from sleep, the profile setting for the HDMI audio gets reverted
to off and the channel is then listed as inactive (shown in attachment). Steps
1 and 2 needs to be repeated manually to recover sound on this channel.
EXPECTED RESULT
Settings to be retained upon returning from sleep
