--- Comment #12 from [email protected] --- Ok, I think I've found the culprit (but nuked my plasma customization meanwhile). As soon as you add a "org.kde.plasma.kickerdash" widget to the menu bar, plasmashell starts consuming CPU like a crazy dog. It's completely lazy with "org.kde.plasma.kickoff" (less than 1% CPU) but explode to 100% with kickerdash (which is called something like "Application panel board" / "Tableau de bord des applications").
