STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have some output
2. Search for some existing strings (Ctrl + Shift + F)
3. Type "clear" and hit enter
OBSERVED RESULT
The terminal view is cleared, but the search box still shows a green background
and the scrollbar still shows the positions of the search results (yellow
rectangles).
EXPECTED RESULT
An updated search state.
