SUMMARY
I remove the tick in the checkbox for the aforementioned option in the menu
under Display & Screen (?). Then I click apply and confirm the upcoming pop up
window. When I stay on the same page (or even close it), the changed option is
not stored permanently. The display keeps getting dimmed after a certain time.
After restarting the PC the option is always ticked as if I did not turn it
off.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open settings
2. Navigate to Display & Screen
3. Remove the tick on the mentioned option
4. Stay in the window (or close?)
OBSERVED RESULT
See the display getting dimmed after a few seconds (like 30 or 60 seconds)
EXPECTED RESULT
The display does not get dimmed anymore, because I turned it off.

Windows: no
macOS: no
