Some days after a reboot, occasionally and randomly, I will right click something or open a window, and it will just be black. If I close and open the window multiple times, it will usually go back to normal after a certain number of close/opens, but from that point on, any window has maybe a 50/50 chance of appearing black. It can happen to right click menus, Firefox bookmark bar folder drop-downs, anything. Using alt+shift+f12 fixes the problem for the current window or menu but the problem will be back some time after that. SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop support team tells me that I should try to get an answer here and hence my claim for a fix. Thanks a lot by now for your help. Have a nice and safe day.
