SUMMARY
kdeconnect's remote input system is depending on kwin-wayland. That's why it
isn't compatible with anything other than kwin. Most of the rest of kdeconnect
isn't depending on a plasma-session in any way. Thats why it would be nice to
have a implementation which isn't depending on kwin. That could be done with
ydotool.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install kde-connect
2. connect a device
3. Try out remote-input in a non kwin wayland session.
OBSERVED RESULT
remote-input isn't working.
EXPECTED RESULT
remote-input should work or at least there should be a error message.
