Layout in Editing tab does not persist between tabs. I will disable the clip
monitor and library because I like having the single viewer just for the
timeline. Then I will switch to the audio tab to adjust some levels and when I
return the clip monitor and library window are back.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change the default view using the 'view' menu'
2. Switch to Audio or Effects tab
3. Switch back to have user settings overridden
