Tuomas Nurmi <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |INTENTIONAL CC| |[email protected] Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED --- Comment #16 from Tuomas Nurmi <[email protected]> --- Documenting here that this behaviour is because any rating field with non-empty email field (="Windows Media Player 9 Series" in WMP, "no@email" in MediaMonkey) is ignored when scanning collection. Related design discussion available on Banshee bug from 2008: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532650 Also explicitly stated on an earlier bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=177853 "Amarok will only read and write POPM tags with an empty email address which is allowed in the id3v2 spec." So if one wants import ratings from files set by players that put something to email field, one needs to empty the email field (e.g. using kid3 or some script). Closing as intentional. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
