Disable:Configure/Editing/General/Brackets:Automatically close brackets when
opening bracket is typed
Configure/Editing/Open/Save/Modes & Filetypes/Scripts/Zsh/Variables:
kate: auto-brackets false;
I use this 2 settings, But doesn't work settings on kate block insert mode.
I feel strange this issue, Because this happen reproduction, I select and type
is no issue on 1 line.
But I select and type to multi line of block insert mode. Kate non used user
settings of "Automatically close brackets when opening bracket is typed".
I have difficult explaining this issue. So please try. Toolbar/Selection/Block
Selection Mode:Enable
Example:
Select 1 line and insert:" [ { <
This no automatically close.
Select multi(2~) line and insert:"" [] {} <>
See? Automatically close bracket with kate. But I choose Disable to
Automatically close blackets.
I think this issue fix is kate use User settings of Automatically close
brackets with select and type to multi line.
Or I overlooked this settings of automatically close brackets?
