            Bug ID: 507751
Summary: Consider lowering the clicks to expand System upgrade
details to one instead of two
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
      Version First 6.4.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Solus
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Updates (offline)
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
With offline updates, all system updates are under "System upgrade". It
currently takes 2 clicks to get to the list of packages to be upgraded. The
extra click needed doesn't seem to provide any benefit, and makes it slower to
get to the information.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have Settings - Software Update set to "After rebooting" and wait for
updates to be available
2. Open Discover and go to updates
3. Click on System upgrade

OBSERVED RESULT
One additional line of text with a button "More Information" appears. It's
necessary to click this button to show the actual list of updates.

EXPECTED RESULT
For someone who has to look at this daily, it would be convenient to get to the
package list with one click.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Solus 4.7
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1
Kernel Version: 6.15.6-321.current (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm on a rolling release distribution, on the unstable repo. There are updates
daily.
I usually want to see what will be updated before doing the update, to see if I
can perform it now or need to clean up things in apps (like Firefox) first.
Allowing this to be one click would be a quality of life improvement.

This might be as simple as not hiding the "Update from" text, I'm not sure that
provides a lot of value.
