In digikam version 8.7.0, the portrait MP4 videos from my phones (Google Pixel
6 and Samsung S20) are shown correctly in portrait mode under thumbnails and
under preview.
When you open them via presentation mode, they are rotated incorrectly in
certain situations.
ok - direct access via black arrow works (show full screen mode),
not ok - but the forward and backward order doesn't work.
