I am running 6.3.5 and seem to be experiencing this issue, or perhaps the
resolutions you noted now create the (very similar) issue for me and others.
I'm on X.org.
I found https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503962 first so my notes were
added there. So that bug report is possibly related to (dupliate?) this one.
