Bug ID: 507194 Summary: The little hand used to move clips around on the timeline doesn't work well on short clips. Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version First unspecified Reported In: Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface & Miscellaneous Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: is_...@yahoo.com Target Milestone: --- *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Please remove this comment after reading and before submitting - thanks! *** SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. try to select and move a short clip on the timeline - on longer clips a little hand appears and you can grab and move the clip. Now on shorter clips you can't get the hand to appear. Of course a work around is to select the clip with the shift select but that adds an unnecessary step 2. OBSERVED RESULT The little grab hand doesn't appear on short clips EXPECTED RESULT The grab hand should appear and be able to be accurately positioned for a 'move clip' action even if the clip is very small SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
