Bug ID: 507014 Summary: Search application associated with a shortcut Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version First 6.3.4 Reported In: Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: kcm_keys Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: tnem...@free.fr CC: duha.b...@gmail.com, fanzhuyi...@gmail.com, k...@david-redondo.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Context: when I hit the meta key (Windows logo), the application launcher menu is displayed. As it annoys me, I wanted to remove that shortcut. It's not in the application launcher parameters so I went to the system settings shortcuts configuration. In the keyboard shortcuts configuration section, one can search for applications and actions to configure their shortcuts. But a shortcut itself cannot be searched for. Of course, by trying possible appliications, one can narrow the (visual) search but it's fastidious. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the Shortcuts configuration of the Keyboard section in SystemSettings 2. Type "Meta" in the search bar OBSERVED RESULT Some strange behavior occurs: - No search result in the right pane (a mix of unrelated stuff) - the application pane displays all applications - when clearing the search bar a (random ?) application shortcuts are displayed EXPECTED RESULT All of the system application actions that have "meta" (or better : that have _only_ "meta") in their shortcuts should be displayed and only their shortcuts containing "meta" (or the only one having only "meta"). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 13 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.12.35+deb13-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
