Bug ID: 506992 Summary: Inconsistent wording and icons in view-splitting menus Classification: Applications Product: yakuake Version First 25.04.3 Reported In: Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: quentin.guyot.2007_...@m4x.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 183202 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=183202&action=edit side by side illustation SUMMARY I’m a heavy user of Yakuake’s feature allowing two shells per tab, so I use almost daily both the "right-click on a tab" menu and the "right-click on the plus" menu, and they use different wording and icons to refer to the same thing. The former seems less ambiguous in its wording and has distinct icons, while the latter has the same icon for all 3 actions and uses ambiguous wording (is the layout horizontal or is the splitting line horizontal?) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. right-click on the new tab 2. right-click of the current tab OBSERVED RESULT inconsistent wording and iconography between the two menus EXPECTED RESULT Both menus should use similar wording and icons. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.6-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
