Bug ID: 506425
Summary: Pen Monitor Calibration: Consistent erroneous offset
to the right
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.2.0
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_tablet
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
On all my screen tablets i've tried so far, I have a consistent offset of the
pen cursor to right of about 1-2mm which places it too far from the pen tip, it
is also blocked out of view by the pen then.
In comparison the proprietary calibration tool of the xp-pen tablets places the
cursor correctly.
The result is constant.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Calibrate the pen via the built-in tool.
2. Observe the position of the cursor when putting the pen onto the screen.
OBSERVED RESULT
The Cursor is about 1-2mm too much to the right and completely blocked out by
the pen which makes drawing hard.
EXPECTED RESULT
The Cursor being right at the end of the tip of the pen.
